Manga kid, Great tool for schooling I started using MS office apps on my iPad at the start of the spring semester; especially PowerPoint. When it comes to school, my iPad has become just as productive, even more convenient to use than my MacBook. It is such a joy to be able to use the professors presentation and be able to highlight and jot simple notes within the PowerPoint slides to go back and focus on the important things to study.
I no longer need to take notes on paper because all the notes are on the slides. It saves me the hassle of carrying around a heavy laptop and keeping countless notes and packet papers organized and crumble free. I wish I began doing all this cloud based work when I started college. It would’ve made things a lot easier when it came to studies.
But from now on, I will be. It is a plus to finally use my iPad more often in a more productive way. KatWalk65, Needs overhaul Working on my phone is mandatory as that's often when I can focus on a project and so the cumbersome interface on the iPhone 7 is so frustrating - and why can't Microsoft just acknowledge other platforms and make it easier to migrate. I am not a fan of Google slides and google often abandons their initiatives so I would prefer to transfer other team members' drafts in any format into the PPT APP so I can work on a presentation only needing laptop to finalize.
It's not at all fluid as you write slides - and add data. Too much time re-formatting rigid design templates so they don't appear generic and actually look like other presentations! Follow more of the process of sway but with animation ability. Make import easy, then modification tools available in the live design - rather than the back and forth, adjustment, can't see, lose work, awful screen interactivity, ugly font with wrong color palette - but had to choose from limited selection of styles.
LinkedIn slide share provides more visual variety and having to download multiple apps that chew up limited iPhone space is just annoying. Microsoft needs to treat ppt like it did the surface - get it to work with 3-D printers, interface with my Xbox X with game designer tools I can use to illustrate a story or give vision to a pitch. I'd be glad to be hired for 6 months to fix your creative workflow.

You now get glittery pens - but functionality has been lost. I used to be able to shrink the size of the powerpoint slides and type in the note section along side - which was carried throughout the powerpoint file. Now every time I switch a slide, it is MAXIMIZED to the largest size possible - and I have to re-shrink it down again and again. Even worse, the slide can no longer be moved to the side to accommodate the note space so that you can view the slide and notes fully and simultaneously side-by-side. Not only that, but every time I minimize the application to jump on safari powerpoint restarts completely, and I lose my place in the slides. These complaints may not seem like a huge deal, but for someone who is in PA school and sits through 6 hour lectures, these are huge disappointments and annoyances. I’ve used powerpoint since I began college 6 years ago, but I will be using another app if these problems aren’t fixed soon.
